Cannes Lions 2016: PHD India secures only shortlist in Mobile

There is no shortlist from India in the Creative Data category

PHD India bagged the only Mobile Lions shortlist for India at Cannes Lions 2016. This year, there were 123 shortlists in Mobile category from a total of 1,259 entries from across the world. There is no shortlist from India in Creative Data category.

PHD India’s work titled “Lo Kar Lo Baat” for HUL’s Active Wheel Detergent made it to the shortlist in Integrated Campaign sub-category.

So far India has won only one Mobile Lion in 2014 when HUL’s “Kan Khajura Station” campaign done by Lowe & Partners India won a Gold Lion.

The Mobile Lions celebrate device?driven creativity. Award winners should demonstrate performance in portable platforms, that is, work where a handheld or wearable environment is integral to the idea and enables key aspects of the execution.

The Mobile Lions awards will be presented during the Creative Data, Innovation, Mobile, Media and Cyber Lions awards ceremony, which will take place on the evening of Wednesday, June 22 in the Lumiere Theatre of the Palais des Festivals.

There is no shortlist from India in Creative Data category.
