Four Indian agencies shortlisted for Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards 2016

MullenLowe Lintas, SapientNitro, McCann Worldgroup and Interface Communications from India have been shortlisted for the prestigious awards. Brands that celebrate human truths, inspire purpose and effect real change are honoured

Indian Agencies McCann Worldgroup, MullenLowe Lintas, SapientNitro and Interface Communications have been shortlisted for the Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards 2016. The only regional award of its kind, the Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards honours brands that deliver business results while promoting a positive societal value. Brands from around Asia that celebrate human truths, inspire purpose and effect real change are shortlisted.

The agencies shortlisted under the advocacy category are McCann Worldgroup India for Nestle’s ‘Everyone can Breastfeed a child’ and MullenLowe Lintas Group India for Unilever's Future Child. Under Brand activation, MullenLowe Lintas Group’s Future Child and SapientNitro’s ‘The Awesome job that you can’t apply for’ for William Grant and Sons’.

Then under the branded content and entertainment category again, MullenLowe Lintas’ Future Child and SapientNitro’s ‘Fuelled by love’ have been selected. For the category family-oriented brand, MullenLowe Lintas has three shortlisted, three more years for Hindustan Unilever, Future child for Unilever and Wish chain for Flipkart. Under health and wellness and insight and strategic thinking, Future child has been selected again.

For the integrated digital category, Dabur India’s Brave and Beautiful and Godrej Consumer Products’ Track the bite by MullenLowe Lintas have been chosen. In the integrated media category, the agency’s three more years, Brave and Beautiful and Future child have been shortlisted. Under the sustainable campaign, the agency’s initiative for Tata Global Beverages ‘From packaged good to packaging good’ has been selected. Under the video screen category, agency’s Future child has been shortlisted.

In the Youth brand category, Interface Communications has made a place for #PlaywithOreo for Mondelez India Foods.

Last year, Lowe Lintas + Partners India’s campaigns had won awards under various categories.

The Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards honours mainstream brand campaigns that celebrate humanity, inspire purpose and deliver results. Case study entries must demonstrate how brands uplift society, create a positive change and correlate purpose with purchase.

The Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards began in Manila in 2005 and opened up to the Asia Pacific region in 2012. The Tambuli (a native Filipino horn) is organised by the School of Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) in collaboration with the industry to create a positive impact in society through marketing communications.
