Leading digital marketing firm, AdLift Inc, has launched its new content marketing platform – Content Lift. The platform connects influential authors to brands and advertisers to help them scale up their content marketing initiatives by reaching the right audience. The platform currently caters for 10,000 publishers and 4,500 niche authors and is one of largest content marketing services globally.

In a recent survey by Smart Insights, a digital marketing strategic advice agency, 600 marketing professionals voted for what they thought were the most important digital marketing trends. Content marketing ranked #1 with 29.6 per cent of the votes polled, followed by big data with 14.6 per cent votes. Marketing automation ranked third in preference with 12.8 per cent of the votes polled, followed by mobile marketing with 11 per cent votes and social media marketing with 8.9 per cent of the votes polled in the survey.

Another research found that 63 per cent of companies that posted on social media increased their marketing effectiveness. More than half or 51 per cent of the advertisers who took part in the survey will be increasing their content marketing spends in 2016.

Content Lift is an outcome of in-house research and development involving advanced algorithm crawls of high authority sites for authors which drive social clout. The approach includes connecting with advertisers with specific topically relevant verticals. Parameters are layered in place so that only the very best of sites and authors are part of the content marketing platform and quality is ensured. Sites are screened using several performance metrics – Social Visibility, Domain Authority and SEO Visibility scores.

These numbers clearly show the expanding clout of social media among people. Blend of social media platforms with interactive content makes perfect pair in attracting potential customers for marketers. Studies show that 72 per cent of marketers say branded content is more effective than magazine ads, and 69 per cent say it’s superior to direct mail and PR. Content marketing generates three times as many leads as traditional marketing, but it costs 62 per cent less.”
