9XM launches Flea Market on air

The weekly show will be launched in association with e-commerce fashion brand, ShopClues and will be on air at 11 AM every Sunday, beginning April 9

In an effort at brand integrated content, 9XM has tied up with the online e-commerce portal,ShopClues, to launch a weekly Sunday Flea Market on the channel. The channel strives to market its best-selling property and simulate the essence of a flea market on television, using a theme-based musical show titled ‘Shopclues.com presents Sunday Flea Market’.

‘Shopclues.com presents Sunday Flea Market’ premieres on April 9 and will be on air between 11AM and 1PM every Sunday. The show is expected to offer a differentiated shopping experience to the tunes of Bollywood chartbusters.

The show rides on the popular concept of online flea markets pioneered by ShopClues, by the same name. Since inception, ShopClues’ Sunday Flea Market has been a real game changer in the Indian ecommerce space. This merchandising property curates a mix of products under Rs 1000 to replicate the experience of local bazaars in any Indian neighbourhood that go by names like ‘Shani Bazaar’ (Saturday market) or ‘Mangal Bazaar’ (Tuesday market).

Featuring unstructured product categories like daily utilities, garden needs, kitchen storage, hardware, electronics and automotive accessories, these bazaars caters for the needs of consumers of a varied age group and economic strata.
