Taproot Dentsu and McCann Worldgroup India won 6 medals each followed by BBDO India with 3 medals

First day of Adfest 2016 awards night was best night for India winning 15 medals across the categories including a Gold Lotus hit by Taproot Dentsu. There were a total of 60 Indian finalists in the 14 categories this year and first awards night covered most of the categories with Indian shortlisted entries. The second awards night will be held today for the rest of categories.
Taproot Dentsu led the Indian medals tally on the first awards night with one Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze Lotus. The agency won the Gold Lotus in photography for â€˜radio works best outdoorâ€™ and a Silver in photography for â€˜newspaper works best outdoorâ€™. The campaign also won a Silver each in Press and Outdoor categories.
The two Bronze medals for Taproot Dentsu were awarded for Dulux Paints campaign in Press and Outdoor categories.
McCann Worldgroup India won 3 Silver and 3 Bronze medals for Dabur Digestive Pills.
BBDO won 2 Silver and a Bronze medal for Ariel share the load and touch the pickle campaigns.
Taproot Dentsu leads the table with 22 Finalists followed by McCann with 16 and BBDO with 10.
