New-Year-Resolutions

So, finally, we are into the last day of 2015. It is that time of the year when everybody is busy planning their New Year parties! While some will bid a sparkling farewell as the clock strikes 12, some others will welcome the New Year as another opportunity to fulfil their goals. BestMediaInfo.com asked a few from the advertising fraternity about their resolutions for 2016. And they are so cool!

Josy Paul, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, BBDO India

I have just one; one big and significant resolution which is to make more mistakes, to try something bold and inventive with no regard to winning or losing. Only the joy of trying... To embrace the growing pains of new learning! That's my dream resolution.

Naresh Gupta, Managing Partner, Bang in the Middle

My New Year resolution is that we will not get enamoured by technology. We will not run after that elusive execution style. We will let data take backseat. We will invest in crafting the idea first. The advertising industry lives on ideas and not on any other mumbo jumbo.

Ambi Parameswaran, ?Executive Director, FCB Ulka Advertising

My resolution is simple: 'No New Year resolution'.

KV Sridhar, Chief Creative Officer, SapientNitro India

I believe in changing and evolving, so my resolution will be simple: keep changing with time and do not remain what you are.

Saurabh Dasgupta, Executive Creative Director, Innocean

My New Year resolution is that I shall not execute projects that don't have budgets to do justice to the idea. I would tell my clients that it's better not to do something than do an under-optimal job. After all, a brand can't tell its consumers "pardon the execution, please focus on the idea".

Ashish Khazanchi, Managing Partner, Enormous

My New Year resolution is to be cool.
