In this crowd sourced initiative, viewers can demand their favourite tracks on 9XM #Asktrack

Bollywood music destination 9XM has partnered with to launch India’s first crowd sourced playlist show called #Asktrack. The social media based request show will air Bollywood songs requested by viewers through Twitter, Facebook and Whatsapp platforms. #Asktrack starts airing from December 21, 2015 Monday to Friday at 5:30 PM.

Pawan Jailkhani, Chief Revenue Officer, 9X Media, said, “Our music channels are known for their music curation and innovative programming. Our latest show #Asktrack will be India’s first show to generate live playlist via social media. In this endeavour we are happy to have on board as our partners for #AskTrack and are confident that this viewer’s request show will resonate with the music lovers across India.”

9XM viewers can select their favourite songs from the shortlisted songs presented across 9XM social media platforms ( and twitter@9xmhaqse). The songs garnering the maximum number of votes will be used to generate the playlist for the 90 minutes break less music band #AskTrack.

Viewers can click on the FB/Twitter link to vote for their favourite songs; the playlist will also be shared on to enable seamless voting experience for the viewers

We give the audience the power to decide the playlist on the show which first of its kind across any music channel. The selected songs will be aired instantly, so that the viewers don’t have to wait for a week to watch their favourite songs.”

#AskTrack will be promoted across digital and social media platforms via ads and banners.
