McCann Worldgroup, Mumbai leads with four statues including two Gold and Ramesh Deo Production a close second with a Gold and a Bronze

Indiaâs McCann Worldgroup, Mumbai has brought home two Golds and two Bronzes at the 30th LIA in Las Vegas. They concluded with final discussions to determine Grand LIAs, Statue Winners and Finalists. Indiaâs Ramesh Deo Production won Gold and a Bronze taking Indiaâs tally to 6 statues and 6 finalists at LIA 2015.

Some of the juries include Mark Tutssel, Amir Kassaei, Matt Eastwood, Brian Collins, Malcolm Poynton, Pedro Prado, Emad Tahtouh, Ben Priest, Stephan Vogel, Eugene Cheong and John Mescall, just to name a few. LIA prides itself on having juries that have no political agenda, no block voting, and no pressure to vote for their network. Our juries are only concerned with awarding the best of the best. Obtaining a Statue is a significant milestone for any company, as it demonstrates recognition of the highest degree.â
The Design Jury awarded McCann Worldgroup, Mumbai two Gold LIAs for their client Dabur Gastrina, one in Poster Campaign titled âFrench Hornâ, âFlugelhornâ, âSaxophoneâ. The single piece âFrench Hornâ was also awarded a Gold in Posters.
The company was also honoured with two Bronze Statues for Dish TV titled âSofaâ, one in Print and the other in Poster - Media Promotion.

Ramesh Deo Production, Mumbai was awarded a Gold LIA by the Music & Sound Jury, and a Bronze LIA by the Production & Post-Production Jury for their client Mumbai Mirror titled âI Am Mumbai 2014â.
BBDO India, Mumbai attained Finalist status in Design - Point-of-Sale for Ariel titled âWash Care Labelâ.

Of the 14,106 submissions from 78 countries, 7% attained Shortlist status. Of those elite selections, only 1.2% were awarded Gold Statues; 1.6% Silver Statues; 2% Bronze Statues and 2.1% Finalist. The vast number of submissions reflects the prestige and explosive growth of the London International Awards since its inception in 1986, when only 2,600 submissions were entered.
