With the demand for digital content increasing by the day, visual content like short films have become a chosen medium by brands to spread their message. In order to fulfil this growing need BoringBrands and Vinay Jaiswal have teamed up to launch The MoodyNation, a platform dedicated to creating content for brands across industries.

The platform's launch coincided with BoringBrands' latest film, 'The Homecoming'. The MoodyNation will create content catering to the various moods and emotions of 1.3 billion Indians. Built by the team, that worked on successful short films such as 'Jai Hind' and 'Father's Day', the company is hoping to redefine the parameters of storytelling in this phase of social media marketing. The content will consist of slice-of-life thought- provoking stories that promise to stay with you long after they have played out on screen.

Commenting on the launch, Anshul Sushil, CEO and Co-Founder, The MoodyNation, said, “We have pioneered the digital film genre and have been at the forefront with our previous films. With The MoodyNation we want to give brands the opportunity to talk to the audience instead of talk at the audience through superlative content around brand promises and values. On this platform we intend to create films that we can take to the world.”

Jaiswal, Creative Head, The MoodyNation and Director of 'Jai Hind' and 'Father's Day', said, “This is possibly the best time to be a short filmmaker in India with audiences always looking for different and engaging content to watch and share. The idea is to narrate compelling stories that will resonate with viewers across ages and demographics.”

The team has produced some emotional and thought- provoking films which became popular on social media. While 'Jai Hind' starring Manoj Bajpayee and Raveena Tandon was a poignant tribute to our freedom fighters, 'Father's Day' featuring Piyush Mishra and Zeeshan Ayub beautifully portrayed the nuances of a father-son relationship. Their latest offering, 'The Homecoming', starring Piyush Mishra, Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu is a soul- stirring depiction of how families make a house a home. OYO Rooms and Urban Ladder partnered with the team for these films.
