The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has decided to further revise the dates for payment of net payable migration amount for FM Phase 2 operators only.

Post the announcement of the winning bidders, MIB had directed the bidders to submit the initial 25 per cent payment by September 23, 2015, while the balance amount was to be paid by October 1, 2015. This was then revised to October 5 (25 per cent payment) and the balance 75 per cent was to be paid by October 15.

The Ministry has now decided to grant further extension of time of 15 working days to October 27, 2015 for depositing the total migration fee for Phase 2 FM operators.

The MIB took this decision after receiving another request from Uday Chawla, Secretary, Association of Radio Operators in India.
