India has secured eight metals at Clio Awards 2015. McCann Worldgroup India, Miami Ad School Mumbai, and DDB Mudra Group are among the winners at this year's awards.

McCann Worldgroup India has won three Silver and three Bronze metals. The agency secured a Silver for its work done for Essel Group, titled 'Warnings' in the Out Of Home category. McCann won another Silver in the Out Of Home category for its work done for Dabur, titled 'Musical Instruments'. The same work fetched the agency a Silver in the Print Technique category.

McCann Worldgroup India won two Bronze metals for its work done for Dabur, titled 'Musical Instruments' in Design and Print categories. The agency secured its third Bronze metal in the print category for its work titled 'Warnings' done for Essel Group.

Prasoon Joshi, Chairman, McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific, said, "It's always great to win a CLIO. The entire team at McCann is very happy with these wins. Thank you jury."

Miami Ad School Mumbai bagged a Silver in the Student Innovative category for its campaign titled 'Watch for Nepal'. Developed by three students from the institute – Sonica Baptist, Rushad Patel and Himanish Ashar – 'Watch for Nepal' was aimed at getting donations for victims of the Nepal earthquake through YouTube channel in a most innovative way. The idea was that when the button 'Skip Ad' appeared, along with it appeared a button 'Watch to donate', which enabled a user to contribute $0.01 to help Nepal every time an ad was watched.

Sunitha Suresh, Dean, Miami Ad School Mumbai, while applauding her students, said, “It is a matter of great pleasure for Miami Ad School Mumbai and we are extremely proud of our students. I am sure this will inspire many others in the field of advertising. DDB Mudra Group's 'The Misunderstood Score Board' done for Zee News bagged a Bronze in the Out of Home category.

The Clio Awards is an annual award programme that recognises innovation and creative excellence in advertising, design and communication.
