With its Hindi counterpart, Colors, having further consolidated its position as the leader in Hindi GECs, Colors Infinity made its progression into the English GEC space in Week 37 of BARC ratings.

As per select data (6 Mega Cities : NCCS AB : Individuals : BARC India base - C&S 1Lac+) for English GECS, there was no change in the top two channels. Zee Cafe led the genre with a viewership of 239 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Comedy Central (v) held on to its second spot with a viewership of 115 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Colors Infinity regained the third spot with a viewership of 76 (ratings in sum of 000s).

English Movies

In the English movies space, Zee Studio made a comeback to the top three channels in Week 37.

As per select data (6 Mega Cities : NCCS AB : Individuals : BARC India base - C&S 1Lac+), Movies Now continued to dominate the English movies genre with a viewership of 3,301 (ratings in sum of 000s), while Star Movies followed with a viewership of 2,071 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Zee Studio took the third spot with a viewership of 1,675 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Meanwhile, four of the top five English films during Week 37 were from the Movies Now stable, with 'The Mummy Returns' on Star Movies taking the fourth spot. 'Battleship' on Movies Now topped the table with a viewership of 38 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Hindi Movies

There was no change in the hierarchy for the Hindi movies genre as Zee Cinema topped the table for the second successive week.

As per select data, HSM : NCCS All : Individuals : BARC India base - C&S 1Lac+), Zee Cinema was ranked No. 1 with a gross viewership of 203 million.

Sony Max was placed second with a viewership of 177 million, while Star Gold followed with a viewership of 150 million.

Set Max had the top rated film of the week, with 'Dangerous Khiladi 4' getting a viewership of 2,249 (ratings in sum of 000s). The film 'I' continued to get eyeballs for Zee Cinema, taking the second spot with a viewership of 1,861 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Salman Khan-starrer 'Kick', which aired on Star Gold, secured the fifth spot with a viewership of 578 (ratings in sum of 000s).
