Bringing the extraordinary stories of ordinary people to the forefront, IBN7 launched a 13-part series – 'Shabash India' – on August 8, 2015. The show airs every Saturday at 8.30 pm.
'Shabash India' showcases the untold stories of young innovators who have, despite limited resources, done ingenious work to solve day-to-day problems. It also includes inspirational stories of people who have surmounted adversity and background to achieve success in their life.
The third episode of the show featured some innovations like the Mitticool Fridge, an earthen refrigerator that runs without electricity, a Smart Wheel Chair developed by an engineering graduate that works with the head movement, and Banana Leaf Technology that preserves banana leaves for a year without the use of any chemicals.
The previous episodes of 'Shabash India' told stories of the inventors of the Yellow Solar Power Bag, Shravan Wheel Chair and Prajwal CFL.
