Colors is set to launch a new fiction show, 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed', from August 10, 2015 at the 6.30 pm time slot. The show will replace 'Shastri Sisters'.
An official announcement in this regard is expected later this week.
Produced by Filmfarm (makers of 'Uttaran', another show on Colors), 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed' is about the love of a boy Biplab for Dhaani, a widow, and is set in Benares. The show stars Mishal Raheja and debutant actress Eisha Singh.
Shakuntalam Telefilms' 'Shastri Sisters' has been struggling to pump in the TVTs. The show was launched in July 2014. In May this year, the show's time slot was rescheduled from 7.00 pm to 6.30 pm.
The coming months are likely to see one or two more changes in Colors' programming line-up.
