WPP's Blue Hive appoints Vidhu Sagar as Managing Partner, India
Sagar joins in from Carat Media India, where he was Executive Vice-President and had a seven-year stint

Vidhu Sagar has joined Blue Hive, a WPP company, as Managing Partner, India. He joins in from Carat Media India, where he was Executive Vice-President and had a seven-year stint.
At Blue Hive, Sagar will be reporting to Pete Rentschler, President, Blue Hive APAC, and will be based at the company's Gurgaon office. He will be handling entire business operations, P&L, and future growth of the company in India. The entire integrated team comprising strategy planning, creative, media, digital, activations and account management will be reporting to Sagar.
On his new role, Sagar commented, “The advertising business is witnessing rapid changes and unprecedented growth in our country. Prior to Carat Media, he was with the India Today Group as Senior GM – Marketing for a period of two years. He started out with Everest Advertising – a WPP company in India now – in media planning and later moved into strategy planning. He also did account management stints with Contract and the McCann Network, before spending six years with FCB Ulka Advertising as General Manager, Delhi. In his most recent assignment, Sagar was responsible for managing and growing Carat India's largest office in India with clients such as General Motors, MasterCard, British Airways, Reebok, Muthoot Group, Bose, and Tetra Pak, among others.
