There are some emotions in life which are hard to express; and then there are some special gestures which miraculously make the difficulty disappear. This Father's Day, Oyo Rooms rolled out an emotional digital campaign that celebrated the unspoken love between a father and son. The communication campaign, conceptualised by BoringBrands, features actors Piyush Mishra and Zeeshan Ayyub.

On a day-to-day basis, we shy away from expressing our love for our dads as we end up taking this relationship for granted. Then we spend our lives repenting for that one moment when we could have hugged them and told them how much we loved them. This emotional insightful video tells us that nothing in this world is timeless, hence one should value it till it is there with them.

Commenting on the campaign, Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO, Oyo Rooms, said, “This video is very special to us, rekindling the hope that all of us will stop for a moment and express love for the man who takes our dreams to places. I personally love the concept of taking such industry icons like Piyush Mishra and Zeeshan Ayyub and putting them in rustic scenarios and everyday situations. I hope this campaign inspires every father-son duo in the country to say it out loud and appreciate the presence of each other in their lives.”

Piyush Mishra, who is a part of the campaign, remarked, “When I think of Father's Day, the feeling of love and joy immediately resonates. Now that I myself have experienced fatherhood, I can relate to the fact that as fathers how much we crave for our sons to express their love for us. Though we may never demand it, but in our hearts we secretly harbour the wish to hear the three magical words from them. The plot of this film takes me on a journey of expressing love in relationships and realising how priceless they are. I have loved working with the entire production unit and also Zeeshan. I think he is a fabulous actor who works his way to perfection. Your father has made sure each dream of yours comes true; make sure you do the same.”
