hathwayHathway Cable & Datacom has reported 44 per cent growth in its cable subscription revenues for FY15 to Rs 840 crore from Rs 583 crore in FY14. Broadband revenues for FY15 were up 47 per cent to Rs 248 crore from Rs 169 crore in the previous fiscal. Total revenue recorded a growth of 16 per cent at Rs 1831.6 crore.

On the other hand, consolidated net loss for FY15 increased to Rs 180.45 crore, compared to net loss of Rs 111.11 crore a year ago.

EBITDA was down 16 per cent to Rs 259.9 crore, while EBITDA (without activation) grew 21 per cent to Rs 177.5 crore in FY15, from Rs 147 crore in FY14.

Hathway seeded 0.43 million set-top boxes (STBs) in FY15, taking its total STBs seeded to 8.5 million. With nearly 72 per cent of its subscriber base now digitised, Hathway remains the biggest MSO in India as far as digital subscriber base is concerned. Of the digitised subscriber base, nearly 1.8 million subscribers fall in Phase III territories.
