Day three of the 62nd Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity brought much cheer to the Indian camp. Along with wins in Glass Lion, including a Grand Prix, Indian agencies took home three Silver and three Bronze Lions in the Outdoor category. A total of 131 awards were given away in Outdoor Lion.
McCann Worldgroup India has won two Silver Lions this year in Outdoor. The first Silver Lion is for its campaign titled ‘Basement’ done for Essel Group’s Dish TV. The agency also bagged a Silver Lion campaign for its works titled ‘Sofa’, ‘Puddle’, and ‘Basement’, again done for Essel Group’s Dish TV.
Creativeland Asia has won a Silver Lion campaign for its works titled ‘Heart’, ‘Gut’, and ‘Brain’, done for Reckitt Benckiser India’s brand Durex Real Feel Condoms.
The DHL Hands campaign comprising three ads – ‘Ripped’, ‘Cutter’ and ‘Scissors’ – has fetched a Bronze Lion campaign for Grey Worldwide Mumbai. The campaign was done for client DHL’s Express Courier Services.
DDB Mudra Group has bagged a Bronze Lion campaign for its works done for Volkswagen – titled ‘Bi-Xenon Headlamps’ and ‘’Automatic Distance Control’.
The Sound Wave campaign done for Puffin’ children’s audio books – titled ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘The Jungle Book’ and ‘Cinderella’ – has won Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai a Bronze Lion campaign.
