LIC India has released a new campaign targeting youngsters to consider a career as LIC agents. Addressing working professionals and housewives, the ad film, titled 'Life set hai', has been conceptualised by RK Swamy BBDO.
The film begins in an office with a guy, who has tied his neck-tie on his forehead, depicting a nine-to-five job; a BPO guy standing at the door in the wee hours with a live rooster in his hand; a tired looking housewife running in a hamster wheel; and a girl pushing the minute hand of huge wall clock – thus depicting the various kinds of jobs people take up. The protagonist (male or female), representing an LIC agent, confidently walks in through a door and asks viewers to choose a job and earn on their own terms. The film ends with people from the previous sequences leaving their jobs and joining the protagonist as LIC agents.
Gautam Pandit, Senior Partner and Executive Creative Director, RK Swamy BBDO, said, “The objective of the film is to convince educated youngsters to become LIC agents as it is a good career option and they can now work and earn on their own terms.”
