BBC Tamil TV news bulletins launch on Thanthi TV

From today, at 7.30 pm, Thanthi TV viewers will be able to watch the news bulletins with BBC’s coverage of top international stories of the day

BBC Tamil TV news bulletins of regional and international news will be broadcast by Thanthi TV in Tamil Nadu, following a partnership between BBC World Service and Thanthi TV. From Wednesday, April 1, at 7.30 pm, Monday to Friday, Thanthi TV viewers will be able to watch the news bulletins with BBC’s coverage of top international stories of the day.

BBC World Service is the first international broadcaster to offer Tamil-language TV content. The BBC Tamil TV programme draws on the BBC’s global newsgathering presence across the world, covering politics, economy, business, entertainment, culture and human-interest stories.
