Rohit Kumar, VP – Marketing, has moved on from Zee Media after more than a decade. Sources have confirmed the development to BestMediaInfo.

Kumar had joined Zee Media in 2003 as Deputy Vice-president. He was reporting to the CEO of Zee Media. Kumar was involved in planning, organising and executing brand management activities.

He recently concluded the differentiation creating brand campaign “For the Sake of News” and “D for Digital”, B2B initiative providing the corporate world an understanding of the realm of Hindi news genre. He has handled the all-India distribution and placement strategy for Zee News, Zee Business and eight other channels

Prior to Zee, he had worked as a media research executive with TV Today Network, where he was part of the research launch team of Aaj Tak.

Kumar has over 14 years of experience in brand building, product planning, marketing research, positioning, distribution, content strategy, promotional activities, events, strategic alliances and in film branding.
