Filmaker Daniel Benmayor signs with The Sweet Shop

The Sweet Shop has announced the addition of director Daniel Benmayor to their roster of talent. A favourite of Fortune 500 companies the world over, Benmayor’s highly visceral, cinematic style has led to partnerships with many of the world’s top brands including Mastercard, Mini, Playstation, Fanta, Mercedes, Nissan, Renault, Mitsubishi, Vodafone and Samsung.

Known for being an open and creative collaborator, Benmayor takes great pride in his ability to deliver a wide variety of content unrestricted by style or genre. Whether it is a humorous chase sequence involving dogs, a high-octane paintball gun shoot-out, or a tensely structured heist, Daniel’s biggest strength lies in his ability to mine the best possible material out of any script.

“Directors depend on scripts, and when scripts are good, our job is half done. The Sweet Shop’s reputation attracts these high end concepts and I know they will support and allow me to keep up the creative aspect and deliver high quality films,” said Benmayor of his decision to sign with The Sweet Shop.

Born and raised in Barcelona, Benmayor was first introduced to filmmaking by his father who would create Super 8 family films with a small handheld camera. The camera fell into Benmayor’s young hands when he captured a shot for his father who was driving at the time. The rest remains history.
