Times Television appoints Sonal Khanduja as VP-Programming

She will lead the content team of the English Entertainment channels Movies Now and Romedy Now. She moves from ZEE where she headed programming for Zee Studio and Zee Cafe

Sonal Khanduja

Times Television Network has roped in Sonal Khanduja as Vice-President of Programming for its English Entertainment channels Movies Now and Romedy Now. She will directly report to the English cluster head, Vivek Srivastava.

Before joining Times Television Network, Khanduja worked with Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Prior to Zee, she worked with Channel . At Zee she headed the Programming & Acquisition department of Zee Studio and Zee Café. She has over a decade's broadcast experience experience in programming strategy, content research, acquisition and production.

Vivek Srivastava, Senior VP and Head – English Entertainment Cluster, TTN, said, “Sonal is a great addition to the team at TTN with a formidable base in the English Entertainment segment. With Sonal spearheading our Content team, we are confident that our premium English Entertainment channels – Movies Now and Romedy Now – will scale new heights.”

Khanduja said about her new role, “The English Entertainment cluster at TTN has been growing rapidly with Movies Now and the unique Romedy Now channel. I am looking forward to working closely with such a strong leadership team to take these channels to the next level.”

Khanduja did her PG Diploma in Mass Communication from Sophia College, Mumbai. Before that she did her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
