Bedbathmore.com, an online linen store, put out a dare for actor Hrithik Roshan, leveraging the ongoing promotional campaign for his movie 'Bang Bang'. Conceptualised by Scarecrow Communications, bedbathmore.com tweeted the dare to the actor and put up the tweet on a single hoarding in Juhu, which is Roshan's neighbourhood.

As part of the promotional campaign for 'Bang Bang', Roshan has been challenging his celebrity friends and fans with various 'bang bang' dares. The idea was to challenge Roshan himself with an unusual 'bang bang' dare which required him to shop for bed sheets from bedbathmore.com, and, in return, the site promised to donate whatever he bought to city hospitals along with Rs 5 lakh.

Bedbathmore.com tweeted - '@iHrithik if u shop fr bedsheets frm bedbathmore.com v donate whatevr u buy + Rs 5lac to city hospitals.Bolo accept it? #bangbangdare'. Within a day, the actor accepted the challenge by tweeting- 'Meri billi mujhe hi meow? Sahi hai. Done in the right spirit. Aaaaai ACCEPT!! @mariahilldesign let's check it out!' The actor also tagged his interior designer Maria Hill in his tweet and she replied with – '@iHrithik bed sheets for a cause? Love it! I'm in!'

Raghu Bhat, Founder Director, Scarecrow Communications, said, "When technology, speed of response and creativity combine, magic happens. This is also a great example of how a traditional media like a hoarding can be used effectively in today's digital world. The idea started with a 20x20 hoarding, but led to an avalanche of online and offline attention, that too after spending peanuts."

Sarvesh Raikar, ECD, Scarecrow Communications, said, "Today, it's all about being connected to what's happening around you and speed – agencies not only need to think fast, but even the clients have to respond fast. Bedbathmore.com & Scarecrow did just that. Hats off to Hrithik for being such a sport!"
