With the end of Durgotsav, the Bengal media market usually enters into a ‘lull’ period. While most Bangla news channels appear to be retracing their path back to routine, Bangla news channel ABP Ananda is all set to shake things up with a new reality talk show, ‘Ghanta Khanek Sange Suman’, from October 14, which will be telecast from Monday to Friday at 8 PM.
The show is being heavily promoted across touch points in Kolkata and the channel is spending Rs 1.5 crore to market it. ‘Ghanta Khanek Sange Suman’, to be hosted by anchor Suman De, is a one-hour chat show featuring news, views, debates, discussions and analyses of the day’s biggest issues with a set of panelists. De will be seen analysing social and political issues, and fuelling discussions that will help Bengal look at issues through a different lens of logic and reason.
