Kumarjeet Ghosh, a street musician who plays the mouth organ for alms, was introduced in an episode of Red FM's show 'Mumbai local', hosted by RJ Rishi Kapoor. Ghosh requested talent hunters to help him realise his dream.
Ghosh has been playing the mouth organ since many years on local trains and streets in the evenings, asking for alms and simultaneously works as a watchman during the day to make ends meet.
On the evening show, the RJ called out to music directors who would be interested in offering Ghosh a job. Within a few minutes, Red FM received a call from TV actor/producer Karanveer Bohra, who was mesmerised by Ghosh's musical prowess. Bohra spoke to him and offered him a job in a movie he is planning to make. The radio station provided him with an opportunity that would hopefully better his life.
