QuikKool, the mouth ulcer gel from Piramal Healthcare, has launched a TVC titled 'Chaale tujhe dekh loonga', conceptualised by McCann. It brings out the fact that people live with mouth ulcers rather than doing something about it as they know it will remain for some days. QuikKool, on the other hand, provides instant relief from the pain and also the burning sensation from mouth ulcers. The agency worked on highlighting the unique feature of the gel which no other product in the market was offering.
The 20-second TVC documents the tale of a Sherpa, played by actor Sharman Joshi, in the snow-capped mountains. He encounters a loud yell from a distance. His curiosity draws him towards the source. Slowly, but steadily, he inches further, only to realise that the shriek is not of a Yeti, but of a mountaineer facing the pain of a mouth ulcer. The Sherpa instantly solves the problem with QuikKool mouth ulcer gel, as he yells out, 'Chaale tujhe dekh loonga!'
Prasoon Joshi, Executive Chairman & CEO, McCann Worldgroup & President - South Asia, said, “Drawing from the insight that 'when we feel irritated, we wish to get back at the source of agony', the communication for QuikKool mouth ulcer gel intends to resonate the 'irritated yet helpless' feeling that comes when you suffer from mouth ulcers. We have tried to colloquially express this feeling and hope the language of the brand will become part of the common parlance.”
Kedar Rajadnye, COO, Piramal Consumer Products, commented, “Piramal Healthcare is one of the leading players in the self-care domain, wherein, consumers take their own decisions to solve their problems that disrupt their routine. We saw 'mouth ulcers' as one of those routine problems faced by consumers that we needed to solve. We met lot of consumers and understood that the intense pain while eating and talking caused due to 'mooh ke chaale' becomes unbearable and that there is currently no single effective solution. So, we developed QuikKool – a pain relieving mouth ulcer gel that gives instant relief from pain, as well as provides cooling comfort, enabling the consumer to get on with his life.”
