New campaign by Everest marks the launch of Dual Cream Biscuits with twin flavours

Parle has launched the latest flavours in their range of biscuits. Parle Happy Happy, the creme sandwich biscuit, is now available in twin flavours of chocolate-vanilla and strawberry-vanilla. To mark the launch of Happy Happy Dual Cream Biscuits, Parle has come up with a TVC conceptualised by Everest Brand Solutions.

Since cream biscuits are generally a hot favourite of children, it is natural that the TVC has kids celebrating this. The agency also integrated the brand name into the title track which depicts how everyone becomes happy once they get a taste of the biscuit.

Samir Chonkar, Executive Creative Director, Everest Brand Solutions, said, “Kids like to do things their own way. Every kid loves cream biscuits but enjoys them in his/her own signature style. That's what we have tried to capture in the TVC – various kids enjoying the same biscuit in their own different ways.”

The TVC opens with different children jumping around, holding a Parle Happy Happy biscuit. As the TVC progresses, we can see that they have devised new ways of eating the biscuit – licking off the cream or dunking it in a glass of milk. It is an extension of the earlier Happy Happy campaign, with the trademark song playing in the background.

Shalin Desai, Deputy Marketing Manager, Parle Products, commented, “When it comes to creams, the more the merrier. Ask kids and you'll know how to enjoy a cream biscuit in a 100 different ways! We simply listen to our end consumers – the kids. That's the primary reason for the success of Happy Happy. The newly launched biscuits are not just cream biscuits in dark shells, but a unique dual-flavoured cream within every sandwich, thereby doubling the happiness quotient among kids. Happy Happy Dual Creams is an innovation in the creams segment wherein for the first time dark shells have been complimented with twin flavoured creams. The idea behind coming up with a dual-cream format is inspired by the voice of our consumers.”
