Yakult, a probiotic drink, was launched in India in 2007, and is presently available in Delhi, NCR, Nasik, Chandigarh, Punjab, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.

Minoru Shimada, Managing Director, Yakult Danone India, said, “While we have been expanding across geographies, India is an important market where we are actively building awareness and benefit about probiotics.
