radio-station-fm-audio-studio-150The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has invited Proposals from companies registered in India under the Companies Act, 1956 or a foreign company incorporated in a country outside India or a joint venture of such companies or a consortium of such companies having a registered office in India and having sufficient resources, technical knowhow and experience for selection as agency for conducting simultaneous ascending e-auctions of 839 FM radio channels in 294 cities in India.

MIB has placed the detailed RFP enumerating the scope of work, eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions etc. on its website (www.mib.nic.in) and will use this website as principal means of giving general clarifications, if any, or intimation about changes, if any, in the RFP etc. Similarly all relevant documents such as the detailed policy guidelines dated 25.7.2011 regarding expansion of FM Radio Broadcasting Services through private agencies, Performa for technical & financial bids, Performa for EMD & PBG, pre-contract integrity pact, agreement with e-auctioneer, etc. are also available at www.mib.nic.in. All prospective applicants are, therefore, advised to visit the website as frequently as possible to remain fully apprised of latest developments.

The Bidder will have to submit the proposal complete in all respects together with requisite information and annexure(s), as required, by 1430 hrs. (IST) on 20.06.2014. Bidder shall also submit a non-refundable application fee of INR 50,000/- (Indian National Rupees Fifty Thousand only).
