Satyamev Jayate 2 on Star Plus got a grand opening on people-meters and helped the channel cross the 700-TVM mark again. As per TAM data for Week 10, the launch episode was watched by a massive 26 million viewers. When extrapolated to the all-India universe, as per standard industry conversions, it means that the launch episode was watched by 79 million viewers.

The show recorded 7429 TVT in All-India (All 4+, All India) and a HSM TVT of 6770 (All 4+, HSM). These are simulcast ratings of the original episode aired on Sunday morning 11 AM across seven channels (Star Plus, Star Pravah, Star World, Star Utsav, Star Vijay, Asianet and Doordarshan) along with the 1 PM original airing on ETV Telugu.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 10 of TAM 2014 (March 2 – March 8) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus led the Hindi GEC genre with a distant margin followed by Zee TV at No. 2 and Colors at No. 3. By adding 32 TVM to its gross viewership, Life OK strengthened its position at No. 4. While SAB rose to No. 5, Sony slipped to No. 6.

By adding maximum 80 TVM to its gross viewership this week on the back of Satyamev Jayate 2 and other fiction shows, Star Plus's GTVM was recorded at 717 TVM with a relative share of 26.97% (last week 637 TVM with 24.5% relative share).

Zee TV witnessed a decline of 20 TVM in its gross viewership but held No. 2 position with a big margin. The channel recorded 528 TVM with a relative share of 19.86% (last week 548 TVM with 21.08% relative share).

Colors lost maximum 30 TVM and dropped to 435 GTVM. It had a relative share of 16.36% (last week 465 TVM with 17.88% relative share).

Life OK witnessed a surge in its viewership in the second consecutive week and strengthened its position at No. 4. The channel recorded GTVM of 373 against last week's 341. The relative share of the channel was 14.03% in Week 10 of TAM 2014 against last week's 13.12%.

SAB TV returned to No. 5 with 305 TVM and 11.47% relative share (last week 303 TVM and 11.65% relative share).

Sony slipped to No. 6 recording GTVM of 301 million. It had a relative share of 11.32% (last week 306 TVM and 11.77% relative share).
