Goral-Ajmera

Goral Ajmera, Senior Executive Creative Director at Grey India, has been invited to join the New York Festivals 2014 International Grand Jury.

Ajmera said, “NYF is clearly an award show that has evolved with the changing times. New categories, new judging process and now, newly designed trophies created by Sagmeister & Walsh. I am truly excited and honoured to be a part of an eclectic jury from across 70 countries.”

The Grand Jury judging will take place in two stages during March and April.

Ajmera has been in advertising for 14 years. She has previously worked with Enterprise, Leo Burnett, O&M and JWT. Over the years, she has created forward-looking campaigns on a wide portfolio of brands like Reliance, Killer, Lux, Sunsilk, Dove, Ponds, Timespro, Ferrero, Bajaj Allianz, Femina, Vimal, Set Max and Parle.

Her international awards include the Gold Lion, a couple of Bronze Lions, metals and finalists at One Show, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Young Guns, London International Awards and World Press Awards. Goral has also bagged over 50 Abby metals and finalists over the years.

On a poster campaign designed for Deccan Odyssey, Ajmera won kudos from none other than advertising legend Neil French who said the campaign “puts faith back in Indian advertising”.

The World's Best Advertising of 2014 will be celebrated at The New York Show, to be held at the landmark New York Public Library's Beaux-Arts building at 455 Fifth Avenue at 40th Street in New York City on Thursday, May 1, 2014.
