Turner International, to strengthen its business in Asia, has appointed Clément Schwebig as Senior Vice-President, Business Development, based in Hong Kong. Schwebig, a French national, will be tasked with leading and implementing Turner International Asia Pacific's growth strategy across the region.

As the company continues to invest in new genres to grow further beyond its core business, Schwebig will lead efforts in creating new local and pan-regional channels, furthering Turner's in-market presence and developing content for local audiences.

Schwebig brings more than 15 years' industry experience and more than a decade managing substantial TV operations in Europe and Asia.  Most recently he was SVP - TV Operations at RTL Group based in Mumbai where he led the launch of Big RTL Thrill, the group's first TV channel in India, in cooperation with Reliance.

He previously worked across a number of European countries, holding positions in free-to-air TV including COO of Alpha Media Group in Greece and COO and CFO of RTL Televizija in Croatia. His experience has encompassed managing all aspects of business operations in TV broadcasting and production, including strategy, finance and sales.

Clément holds two Masters degrees from prestigious universities in Paris, a Masters of Management from HEC and a Masters of Corporate and Tax Law from La Sorbonne. He moves to Hong Kong with his wife and two young children.
