Big_FM92.7 Big FM announces the fifth edition of its simple, unique and socially relevant campaign, 'DaryaDili', which aims at making the chilly winters of the north a more tolerable affair for underprivileged residents. A tremendously successful 'DariyaDili' has been held for the last four years in the national capitals. This winter, Big FM is taking the initiative across its stations, covering 20 cities in North India.

With the winters in North India claiming many lives daily, Big FM is all set to conduct a collection drive encouraging the more privileged citizens to donate warm clothing which can help protect the poor and underprivileged from the harsh and cold weather.

Over the course of this month, the radio station's RJs will lead the collection drive by inviting the citizens of Delhi through on-ground interactions and social media platforms, to contribute woollen clothing for the poor. The contributions made by various individuals, RWAs and companies will get them a song tagged with their name. The collected garments will be distributed among underprivileged people through Goonj, Big FM's NGO partner.

Ashwin Padmanabhan, Business Head, Big FM, said, “While winters bring joy, cheer, festivity and warmth to people, the season is among the most difficult times of the year for the underprivileged. We have always encouraged our listeners to partake in social issues which lend a helping hand in bringing about a positive impact to the lives of the underprivileged. With an increase in social awareness, campaigns such as 'DaryaDili' go a long way in the betterment of living standards of our country's population. We are happy to run the 5th edition of this campaign and scale its reach to 20 cities in North India and would like to thank everyone for stepping forward to warm the lives of their fellow citizens.”
