Prashant Sarwade joins Dunkin’ Donuts as Head of Marketing

Jubilant FoodWorks has announced the appointment of Prashant Sarwade as Head of Marketing & New Product Development for Dunkin’ Donuts India. He joins Dunkin’ Donuts India after a distinguished career in Cadbury India, Reliance Retail and Britannia Industries, where he has been involved in key roles in Sales and Marketing.

Dev Amritesh, President & COO of Dunkin’ Donuts India, said, “Prashant has got the right set of skills and expertise to take the Dunkin’ Donuts brand to the next level in India. He is a great addition to the team and we are confident that he will play an important role in growing the brand.”

Sarwade said about his new role, “Dunkin’ Donuts is a globally loved brand and I'm excited to be a part of its team in India. It's a very interesting stage of Dunkin's evolution in India at the moment and I'm enthused at leading the marketing efforts in building an engaging consumer proposition and an attractive business. “

Sarwade has done his engineering from IIT- Delhi and MBA from IIM - Bangalore.

Jubilant FoodWorks is India’s largest food service company, with a network of 602 Domino’s Pizza restaurants (as of 30 June, 2013) across 128 cities. The company is the market leader in the organised pizza market with a 67 per cent market share in India (as per Euro Monitor report 2013). The company has launched 16 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in India (as of August 2013).
