JWT Mindset struck gold at the Adex Awards 2012 sweeping 15 awards for advertising excellence, including nine Golds and six Silvers. JWT Mindset also bagged the Copywriter of the Year and Art Director of the Year trophies. These awards recognise the outstanding work done by JWT Mindset for its clients Oakridge International School, for which it won a total of six awards, as well as for Airtel, Botanika and Orient Fans.
Adex Awards is a organised by the AdvertisingÂ ClubÂ Hyderabad to celebrate creative excellence in advertising in Andhra Pradesh. This year Adex saw 24 agencies participating with a total of 250 entries, of which 17 agencies won awards across varied categories.
The jury comprised Saurav Chakraborthy, head of digital at Cleartrip.com, R Sridhar, CEO, Brandcomm, Murali Krishnan, Creative consultant based in Chennai and former Creative Director, RK Swamy BBDO, Suresh Babu, Producer and former O&M Creative Director, and MK Ramesh, ex-Lintas Creative Director.
Commenting on the awards, Ram Gedela, CEO, JWT Mindset, said, "Our focus is on creating work that will help our clients meet their business goals. JWT Mindsetâ€˜s work for Oakridge International School won them the Art Director of the Year and Poster Service Silver awards, The agency won gold for its work on Airtel, Botanika, Golconda Hotels and Sharmilaâ€™s Yoga Studio. The silver medals were picked up for Upper Deck, Biodiversity, besides Oakridge.
