Zee Media beams into Rajasthan with Zee Rajasthan Plus

The channel is modelled on the concept of 'terrestrial entertainment', with comprehensive hybrid content ranging from national and local news to entertainment, music and lifestyle features

Zee Media Corporation, India's largest news network, is adding another channel to its bouquet – Zee Rajasthan Plus. The new channel is modelled on the concept of 'terrestrial entertainment', with comprehensive hybrid content ranging from national and local news to entertainment, music, and lifestyle features for citizens of Rajasthan. With this addition Zee Media Corporation is targeting the Hindi speaking audiences with a programming mix in Hindi and Rajasthani dialects. The channel plans to integrate many genres in one channel to bring 'something for everyone.'

Zee Rajasthan Plus has informative and entertaining hybrid content which caters to viewers from all walks of life. Movies@3pm, Sports Time@6:30pm, Aapno Shahar Aapni Khabaran@7pm, TV soaps like Jab Love Hua@9pm, Do Saheliyaan@9:30pm, weekend shows like HukumSa@9:30am, Shaan-e-Marudhara@7:30pm are some of the programmes which are expected to find a substantial loyal viewership.

Keeping in view the “Meri Shaan Mera Abhimaan” philosophy of the channel, Zee Rajasthan Plus will strike the right balance of pride factor of the citizens in their Rajasthani roots with entertainment and culture. Apart from national & regional news and current affairs programming, there will be feature programming on heritage, food, devotion and career mingled with an assortment of entertainment content featuring cinema, TV soaps and music. In a nutshell, Zee Rajasthan Plus will bring to its viewers not only news from their region but also entertainment.

The entertainment offering will have both fiction and non-fiction shows. The channel will also feature shows on travel, automobile, real estate, shopping, food, and investments. Its news programming will have both half-hour shows and smaller news bulletins covering regional, national and international developments and will be fed by news bureaus and news representatives and crews at all major Rajasthani cities and towns going down to the block level.
