'Nanda Saukhyabhare', a new reality based weekly show on relationships, will be launched on Star Pravah on August 12, 2013 in the 6:30 PM slot Monday to Saturday. Prasad Oak, prominent movie and theatre actor, will be hosting the show which focuses on real life narrations of family members who have resolved complications in their relationships fruitfully and supported each other in adverse times.

These family members are now living happily together, and want to share their positive and inspiring tales with the society. The format highlights and glorifies positive stories and aims to inspire millions of families in Maharashtra to stand together as a family.

Nanda Saukhyabhare will be an extension of 'Bhanda Saukhyabhare', another popular show of Star Pravah, which is an attempt at resolving household problems and misunderstandings.

This is the first time when a Marathi general entertainment channel will be producing a reality show based on true accounts of family members. Nanda Saukhyabhare, literally meaning Live Happily, is the blessing or good wishes given to newly-wed couples in Marathi. This show not only talks about spouses but also about in-laws, siblings, parent-children and other relationships as well.

While explaining the format of the show, Shravani Deodhar, Creative Head, Star Pravah, said, “Indian culture is based on peace and harmony between various relationships of the family. Sometimes these relationships can become complicated and tense. In this show, we would like to showcase the efforts and challenges faced by common people to solve problems and misapprehensions in such relationships. As these are real-life stories, the audience can easily relate with the subject. We hope that the show can reach the hearts of our audience beyond entertainment.”

“Association with this show is very enriching and productive experience for me as a person,” said Prasad Oak, the host. “Every family has some complications. In my experience, out of hundred, ninety times the people involved are not wrong, the situation is wrong. Everyone should watch this show as it will guide us to solve our problems.”

The show is produced by Indian Magic Eye.
