Sony launches new fiction show 'Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara'

The show starring Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaz will premiere on August 15 and be on air every Monday to Thursday at 9.30 PM. It replaces 'Parvarrish'

Sony Entertainment Television has launched its newest fiction show, 'Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara', which will go on air from August 15, 2013. The show revolves around Saanchi, a strong, selfless, free-spirited woman living on her own terms and spreading happiness in and around her dear ones' lives. It is set in Panchgani and talks about how Saanchi's life and outlook changes when she meets Dhruv Goel, a suave and wealthy lawyer.

'Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara' will be telecast Monday to Thursday at 9.30 PM. It replaces 'Parvarrish' in the primetime slot.

While Saanchi's role is played by well-known television face, Sangeeta Ghosh, Dhruv's role is being played by Ruslaan Mumtaz, who has made his mark as a hero in Bollywood and now makes his debut on television with this show. In supporting roles are Delnaz Irani, Sulabha Deshpande and Meenakshi Sethi.

The show has been written by Niranjan Iyengar and directed by Siddharth Sengupta. It has been produced by Rose Audio Visuals.

The serial is a glimpse into 34-year-old Saanchi's life, who manages the family's strawberry farm after the loss of both her parents. For over a decade her responsibilities are many, but Saanchi has willingly chosen to enjoy her duties. A man or marriage is not on her agenda. Her two grandmothers and two siblings, plus her beloved father's farm make her universe. Saanchi only focuses on building and securing the future of her family. But as they say – destiny works in mysterious ways and in walks Dhruv Goel, a suave and wealthy lawyer who is prepared to change Saanchi's outlook towards her own life – two unlikely protagonists whose paths converge to create an exceptional love story.
