Asianet Movies celebrates first anniversary
The first complete movie channel in Malayalam celebrates its first annivaersary today

Asianet Movies, which opened a new horizon of entertainment for viewers with movies round the clock, got the applause of the viewers by obtaining 140 GRPs (gross rating points) in its first week of telecast one year ago. The Malayalam movie channel, which started its telecast run with the movie 'Spanish Masala', presents seven movies per day. As part of its first anniversary celebration, the channel is introducing a monthly attraction, 'Movie of the month', from this month. It started with the blockbuster 'Mayamohini' yesterday, July 14.
Asianet has the copyright of more than 1,500 films including superhits. Moreover, Asianet Movies also telecasts other film related progammes. It has a wide collection of films of legends like KS Sethumadhavan, P Bhaskaran, Vincent, etc., and telecasts classic movies on Asianet Movies every Wednesday at 1.30 PM.

Today, on its first anniversary, Asianet Movies is presenting a bunch of superhit movies. The channel telecasts Gulumal at 6.30 AM, Keralavarma Pazhassi Raja at 9 AM, Nandanam at 1 PM, Crazy Gopalan at 4.30 PM and Kerala Cafe at 7.30 PM.
