publive-imageDDB MudraMax has recently won the digital media duties of the Ministry of Tourism. A number of media agencies including Span Communications, the incumbent on the account, Zenith Optimedia and GroupM Digital, amongst others, participated in the pitch.

The Ministry of Tourism is the nodal agency for the formulation of national policies and programmes and for the coordination of activities of various Central Government agencies, State Governments/UTs and the private sector for the development and promotion of tourism in the country.

Over the last decade, the ministry has been promoting India as the ideal destination for international tourists, through various advertising campaign and initiatives. This has resulted in India becoming a featured tourist destination on many respected and popular 'Places to See' lists and changed the outlook of India from being looked as a mystical land of snake charmers and tantriks to one rich in multicultural, modern and vibrant country with more to offer every day.

On winning the account, Sathyamurthy Namakkal, President, DDB MudraMax - Media, said, “It is a good endorsement of our digital talent and the team is working round the clock to deliver interesting digital solutions for this initiative.”
