Beginning today, the Channel V logo will be replaced with a logo that reads ‘EngageTV’ during its prime time slots

‘Engage’, ITC’s latest introduction of couple deodorants, has set new benchmarks in media. In a disruptive first, youth channel Channel V will be rechristened as EngageTV during its prime time youth slots.
As part of Engage deodorant’s launch strategy, Channel V began an exclusive three-day on-air pre-launch campaign on May 31, 2013 wherein the channel’s logo was changed to EngageTV for 10 seconds every 10 minutes. This was enhanced by total domination of the channel with ‘Engage’ branded elements such as countdown bugs, Astons, show promos and break transition bumpers.
Beginning today, viewers will see the Channel V logo being replaced with the EngageTv logo during its primetime slots from 3 PM to 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM to 9 PM from Monday to Sunday.
In an endeavour to capture instant consumer mindshare and build brand associations, EngageTV’s innovative media concept will soon be aired on other channels as well.
