Cent Percent Media Solutions (CPMS) has added two more channels to its ad sales bouquet, taking the total to 10 channels. It has recently acquired the ad sales contract of Tarang Music and Prarthana. With a 40-odd people national sales force, CPMS in its four months of existence has shown commendable growth.

Cent Percent Media Solutions is an outsourced national sales representation company set up by senior media professionals to leverage the impending proliferation of the India TV industry, riding the digitisation of cable distribution.

Odisha Television Network is a large regional media conglomerate. Currently, the group owns and operates four channels in Odisha and its sister concern, Ortel Communication, runs the largest cable distribution system in Odisha and neighbouring states. Channels like OTV, Tarang, Tarang Music and Prarthana are leaders in their respective genres and together the group commands about 60 per cent of total viewership of Odisha language TV, as per TAM data.

Ratikant Satpathy, VP, Odisha Television Network, said, “The TV industry is at a tipping point. We realize that digitization will drive exponential growth going forward and channels like ours will get their fair share of growth. They will also be seen and evaluated more seriously. We see immense value in the professionalism of Cent Percent Media, especially their expertise and experience in both national and regional markets. We are confident that Cent Percent Media will live up to our expectations.”

Barun Das, Managing Director of Cent Percent Media, commented, “It’s a matter of great pride to associate with a professional group like OTV. Odisha will certainly join the leagues of the six top language differentiated regional markets, viz., Bengal, Maharashatra and the four southern states. And OTV group will certainly lead that development. We will be committed to exceed our partner’s expectations. October 2013 onwards the TRAI recommended an inventory cap which will be a boon for a section of TV channels. We are well prepared to derive maximum value for our clients.”

Amit Tripathi, CEO, Cent Percent Media, said, “The fact that a group like OTV has shown their trust in our professionalism adds a lot to our confidence. We have a large national sales outfit with offices in all metros led by experienced industry veterans. We understand the challenges of the new scenario post TRAI advertising inventory cap getting implemented. We are confident that our clients will be benefitted in that revised market scenario.”
