Cannes Lions 2013: DDB Mudra Group gets only shortlist for India in Promo & Activation

The ‘Help Desk’ campaign done by the agency for Aarambh has been shortlisted in Charity sub-category

The 60th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the largest global awards and celebration of creative advertising and communications, has announced the shortlists for Promo and Activation Lions.

This year, 265 entries have been shortlisted for Promo and Activation Lions. 2974 entries from 70 countries were entered in this competition, an increase of +11% compared to last year. DDB Mudra Group Mumbai has secured only shortlist for India. The ‘Help Desk’ campaign done by the agency for Aarambh has been shortlisted in Charity sub-category of Promo & Activation Lions. The campaign was also shortlisted for Direct Lions.

Last year, India had got four shortlists in this category but none of them could turn into medal.

Rob Schwartz, Global Creative President, TBWA\Worldwide is the Jury President for Promo and Activation Lions where Sabbas Joseph, Director, Wizcraft is representing the jury from India.

The winners will be awarded during Creative Effectiveness, Promo & Activation, PR and Direct Lions Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Monday evening 17 June in the Grand Auditorium, Palais des Festivals.
