publive-image'Dainik Bhaskar Power Vision Conclave' is a unique initiative bringing together major stakeholders in the energy sector to discuss the current environment and create a platform for constructive debate amongst industry experts and policymakers to decipher ways and means to accelerate growth in this crucial sector. The third edition of Power Vision will focus on identifying the way ahead to overcome the challenges in the sector through efficient harnessing of renewable and non-renewable resources.

Senior industry and Government representatives will share insights, concerns, and bring their expertise collectively towards a better Power scenario in the future.

Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Minister of State for Power has consented to be the Chief Guest for the conclave. As Madhya Pradesh is the focus state this year, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Chief Minister, along with senior state government officials is expected to present the state government's initiatives in the sector.

The conclave, through its specific sessions, will put specific consideration on issues such as overcoming the mounting scarcity of resources, strengthening power generation and transmission systems, improving the financial health of the sector and also on unlocking the hydro and renewable energy potential.

The first 'Power Vision Conclave' organised in 2011 in Delhi was a strong step towards creating a true public-private partnership in the sector and focused on issues in thermal generation, optimising transmission and distribution and financing power projects. The 2nd edition in 2012 focused on challenging outlook for the Indian power sector, fuel availability, financial and regulatory challenges for power sector.
