Zee Studio to telecast Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Since its inception in 1995, the Critics' Choice Movie Awards has been a star-studded event of the Hollywood awards season. Historically, the Critics' Choice Movie Awards are the most accurate predictor of the Academy Award nominations. Catch the biggest Hollywood stars compete for the most prestigious awards on Zee Studio on January 11 at 6:30 AM and repeat telecast at 9 PM.

Among the attendees at last year's show were George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron, Bob Dylan, Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg.

This year the best film category include Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Les Miserables, Life of Pi, Lincoln, The Master, Moonrise Kingdom, Silver Linings Playbook and Zero Dark Thirty. Argo, Skyfall and The Master garnered seven nominations each while Life of Pi earned nine nominations for Best Picture, Best Young Actor, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography ,Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Visual Effects, Best Score.

Indian actor Suraj Sharma has been nominated in the category Best Young Actor for Life of Pi.
