Star Plus appoints Danish Khan as programming head
Khan joins from Sony Entertainment Channel where he was Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing

Former Senior Vice President and Marketing Head of Sony Entertainment Television, Danish Khan is all set to join Star Plus as its Programming Head. Highly placed sources in the industry has confirmed this appointment and informed BestMediaInfo.com that Khan will join Star India on January 7, 2013.
Prior to this, Khan spent 10 years with Sony and rose up to Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing role for the channel. Khan, who joined Sony Entertainment Television in 2002, put in his papers at the channel last month. Post his departure, Marketing Head of MAX Gaurav Seth is heading marketing functions of Sony along with MAX.
Khan had started his career with Mediacom India in 2000 where he spent 2 years as Senior Manager – Strategic Media Planning in Mumbai and Bangalore.
