Z ETC gears up to honour Bollywood's Best in the Business

The 3rd Z ETC Bollywood Business Awards is back to recognise the outstanding films of 2012 at the box office. Founded two years ago, the Z ETC Bollywood Business Awards is the only awards show that celebrates and recognises the efforts of marketers, distributors, production houses and exhibitors who contribute towards a film's incredible collections at the box office along with the actors and directors. Tune in on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 7 PM to watch the best in the business being awarded on Z ETC.

The Z ETC Bollywood Business Awards event is held in high esteem by the industry because they acknowledge the landmark movies of the year which have set the cash registers ringing at the box-office. The winners represent the best work within the industry and are evaluated on the basis of revenues. These awards take into consideration the economic quotient as a cornerstone for mapping the success of a film.

2012 has been very crucial for the film industry in terms of trade figures. One hundred and twenty six films have been released this year. Around eight more films are expected to release in December. Amongst the highest grossers were movies like Agneepath, Housefull 2, Bol Bachan , Rowdy Rathore, Barfi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan whereas Ek Tha Tiger touched a massive Rs 199-crore mark.

What also sets Z ETC Bollywood Awards apart from other awards ceremonies are categories like Best Film Marketing, Distribution and Promotion, Best Cinema Chain of the year, Highest Single-day Collection, and Most Profitable Actor/Director.

Keeping in mind the changing trends of the industry, new categories such as Most Popular Trailer, Most Profitable Debut Male/Female, Best Music Company of the Year and Most Successful Music Director have been included this year.
