It was a night to remember as wild arenas were explored at Nat Geo Wild's 'The Wild Wild Fest'. For the first time ever a channel went out of the box, literally, and created a festival where a viewer could touch, feel and interact with its essence.
There was a very eclectic music lineup with leading bands of India from the rock, fusion and electronic genres - Indus Creed, Advaita, Hari & Sukhmani, BLOT, Menwhopause, to name a few, to the ambience of the wild and rare photo exhibits from the channel's repertoire. Add to that a flea market and a wild cafe, a wild arena with tattoos, body painting, fire breathers, wall graffiti - where people expressed their wild side - the Wild Wild Fest was an all-day treat for lovers of a good time.
Debarpita Banerjee, Vice-President, Marketing, NGC and FOX International channels, said, “We at Nat Geo Wild believe that our content is more about values, beliefs, philosophies, and above all, passion, and hence we decided to reach out to the audiences to give them a touch and feel to it. We have been rewarded with a tremendous response from our viewers who made the first edition of the festival a grand success. Having started with Delhi, the Wild Wild Fest will soon travel to Mumbai and Bangalore.”
