Hindustan Times rolls out readers connect campaign in Navi Mumbai
The newspaper aims to recognize the resident's dreams and aspirations through this campaign

Hindustan Times has been driving positive and decisive change in Mumbai city for more than 7 years, and now it intends to focus even more with custom made offerings specific to different distinct neighbourhoods of the city. The first of this was launched in Navi Mumbai with a campaign titled 'Hindustan Times for Navi Mumbai' on Nov 21. Through this campaign, HT promises to the residents of Navi Mumbai that it will actively engage with the city to highlight issues, events and development close to the heart of Navi Mumbaiites through its newspaper.
The campaign was kicked off with the largest public dialogue of Navi Mumbai where in over 10,000 residents participated in expressing their views on making Navi Mumbai a world class city. The initial results of this dialogue were drafted as a Citizens Charter of Demands and presented to the guardian Minister at a conclave attended by luminaries, citizens, authorities etc.
Commenting on the campaign, Ranjani Krishnaswamy, Head-Marketing, Hindustan Times- Mumbai said, “HT for Navi Mumbai is our first customized offering for a compact geography within Mumbai and we will continue to be the voice of the city, fuel thought for development and aim to better the live of the Navi Mumbaiite”.
Additionally, there were three events lined up recognizing the need expressed by the residents for cultural fests which were, Krishan v/s Kanhaiya, a Tribute to RD Burman ( by Lesle Lewis) and a U-turn play – starring Poonam Dhillon on December 7, 8 and 9 respectively.
